Difference was he was targeted 122 time last year (63.9% catch %) vs 99 times in '16 (67.7%). Tannehill was a backup with the Titans and was ignored for 6 weeks, rode the bench. Thrown into the lineup in desperation, he had a great 10 game stretch. So that means the coaching and training he received prior to arriving in Tennessee finally paid off. Great job Adam Gase. Whisperer indeed.
