Daddy Wang Doodle
Helping a pederast archbishop is possibly the holiest thing the Saints could do. It's what seemingly happens in all other Catholic churches, so why not them?
RoadFan
Hmmm... lots of thoughts... snide remarks... etc. Can't share any of them. This thread will be locked shortly. I am certainly curious to see how this plays out though.

This thread will be locked shortly. I am certainly curious to see how this plays out though. We all know that what happened with the church abuse was horrible, wrong, and criminal. Hopefully none of that really needs to be discussed or debated because I'd hope that we're all on the same page there. But the interesting part here, as it relates to the Saints and the NFL, will be whether the Saints "support" or "assistance" of the church in helping it to communicate to the public is in any way a violation of NFL policies around the "integrity of the game." No one is saying that the Saints did anything illegal, but the Benson family (Saints owners) have been supportive of the church and many charities down there for decades. Does the fact that the Saints professional PR department helped the Church craft its messaging or word press releases in a certain way become a problem for the Saints or the League, other than giving a really, really bad look?
BUM-KNEE
Saints ownership should've been looking to cast light on the issue to stop it from constantly reoccurring, not the other way around. Sickening....
