If you read into the picture... its obviously him leaving Gillette with trees and a picket fence in the reflection... does that mean Nashville or retirement in the country? Word is also they bought a house in Greenwich... who knows.

Good catch on the reflection. That should be an indication of where he is heading. I don't think he wants his last NFL pass to be a pick 6 so he will be playing someplace.

SB weekend isn’t about him. He’s not okay with that. What a petty twat. Always has been.

Bird brains thinks it’s about leaving NE too.

It means he's an attention whore who wants to get people talking about him during Super Bowl weekend

I think he will spend another two seasons or so with the Pats.  I saw a few of their games this year and their playoff game loss.

It wasn't diminishing skills of Brady that was the problem, it was lack of manpower at the offensive skill position.  If they had a stable of decent wr's that work in their system, they would probably be in the Super Bowl.

I think they know that and see that and we'll get a Pats off season with them loading up on pass catchers and a 2020 with Brady back looking to go out on top.

Do you think Tannehill ends up in New England?

I'd rather play Tannehill than Brady too.

Not sure who'd I prefer to play between Tanny and Rivers tho.  Probably Rivers, tbqh.

I have no idea where any of the are going to wind up.

Or it’s him overlooking Gillette.

Or coming into, back into, Gillette.

 Brilliant evasiveness

I think it was both, but the latter was more of an issue this year without question. And I think the "diminishing skills" issue is going to quickly get worse over the next year or two. He's entering his mid-40s. And with that, his ability to lift up lacking offensive talent like he has in the past diminishes as well.

You know I had so many arguments with Pats fans about the is it Brady or Belichick thing.

Its like the chicken & the egg. But even though I believe Belichick is one of the greatest coaches of all time, Brady was literally like Belichicks brain. Brady could convert what Belichick wanted to happen in real time.

How many comebacks for Brady? Even in the Super Bowls he lost he gave them leads the defense couldn't hold (Belichicks defenses).

BB & McDaniel could call a great play but it's the QB has to make the play. I lived in New England during Bradys entire career, and it was just uncanny how zoned in he was in crunch time. Like a f*cking robot always finding the best matchup, always getting through his progressions, always knowing when to check down or go for the dagger with a perfectly placed spiral to win the game. Belichick will always be a great coach, but Brady put him over the top carrying him to 9 Super Bowls like a professional chess player always thinking two steps ahead. Ultimate leader & coach on the field with an insatiable will to win.

Great QB. Great coach.

No need to argue about who made who. Luckily, its ending

That would be best case scenario, dude is done

Yep. Clear decline 2 years ago, even more so this year and most noticeable at end of year.

Another year older isn't going to make things better.

I don't want him to leave just yet. We have to dethrone him first. Who the hell would rather beat a crap Pats team?

Me & many other Jet fans. They had 20 years to beat up a crappy Jets team. I want to run the score up on them too like they did to us in the past. I wouldn't mind if Sam was laughing on the sideline like Brady use to do or maybe point at their bench after throwing another TD!

F*ck the Patriots right up their azz, Brady or no Brady.

No matter where he goes, he will disappoint: he is simply on the decline, and the more he plays, the more it will show. This will be more readily apparent if he plays elsewhere, as he'll have to adjust to new coaches, teammates, schemes, etc. - at the same time his skills are in decline.

I'd just as soon he stay in NE and we get to pound them and him twice next year as they sink into mediocrity or worse. I can't wait for all the fans up here in VT to jump into frozen ponds, gravel quarries, maple syrup cookers, or whatever else they can imagine as their sacred Cheatriots slip from the top echelon of the AFC's best teams.

Note, too: there's been little on the Cheat's recent video snafu. Wait for the penalty after the Super Bowl. And it needs to be a stiff one (I'm looking at you, Goodell, and thinking of the Astros punishment. And that wasn't a repeat offense like this one is by the same owner and staff.)

43 year old QB with gobs of money, Super Bowl rings and MVPs at some point is going to realize another training camp is not going to be fun. And worse at some point if he does play he's gonna take a hit his body cannot really absorb. One thing the Pats have always had is a good OL. He missed basically 1 season due to injury. But he's bucking some very long odds thinking his luck will hold with another team at his age.

all of the hype and it turned out to be a PR stunt for Hulu TV - like the guy doesn't have enough money - LOL

I heard it was something related to a commercial but I didn't see it.  He has a show on Hulu or he's just a pitchman for them?

I think its hilarious how the media and fans got bent out of shape claiming Brady was taken the spotlight away from the SB....

Now nothing but crickets...

Such sheep.

I gotta admit.  The commercial got my attention.  Well played, Tom and Hulu.

That would be a disaster for the rest of the AFC East.

LOL what

Tannehill has proved everyone wrong once and he will do it again. I'm telling you, he is a massively underrated player. He's a hyper-athletic, premium version of Kyle Orton.

I’m used to fighting this battle. When I called Tannehill as the CBPOTY when he was a freaking backup they called be crazy, also.
