Thanks Bob, this is a real nice site that I have added to my daily viewing. Now onto business:

Day 5 of my New York Jets Video Blog is up. Here I am discussing Chad Pennington and the pay cut. The innovative blog entry I was going to do today has been pushed back for tomorrow due to the news of Pennington. Thanks guys and let me know what you think! http://mynyjets.blogspot.com

Hey guys, today on my video blog at: http://mynyjets.blogspot.com

I took a deep look at the defensive end situation in regards to the offseason. I bring up Shaun Ellis' off season (no pun intended), Abraham trade rumors, and B Thomas. Also I bring up what I think we should do in regards to the position.

Check it out and comment here to start the discussion.

I accidentally posted this on a different board, don't ask:

BJ Askew has been there and performed servicably just as Jerald Sowell did when Richie Anderson was the starting FB. I actually think he'll end up being an exciting player a year or so down the road, hopefully for the Jets.

bj askew is where he has been for the last 3-4 years or so, NOWHERE!!! dont know why all of a sudden you decided to notice the fact that he has been invisible on the Jets team, lol. but as far as im concerned, today is no different than the last few years as to where he is.

I guess Sowell is getting cut/has been cut? Can someone fill me in?

If true, this is no skin off my teeth. I like Sowell, always have, but we drafted a FULLBACK in the third ****ing round three years ago. Time to see what the guy's got.

His source says Sowell will be relaeased on tuesday. Im not sure what makes the Jets believe he can do the job.

I have no doubt that Sowell can still get the job done. His role was greatly reduced last year in Heimerdinger's offense, not because his skills started to slip.

I actually like the move. It's time to get younger. BJ Askew has been a complete waste of a draft pick at this point. He deserves a chance to prove that he can play, and I think he will prove that he can. He was supposedly a skilled reciever in college, although I know nothing of his blocking skills.
