I thought crusher was scum early, and CTM - while seeming helpful on his return said, so crushers town and then went hard at smash. the comment to verb is IMO stupid and offering to die is not town (watch how CTM tries to spin it back) oh it benefits town if i die, removes an option that has obviously confused you townies etc

I wouldn't put it past either to be trying to bus each other.

That's a key ingredient - dead bodies help us look back at voting patterns, interactions between players, etc.

 

Last game, I had Stark pegged as a sure townie, and CTM leaning townie.  Stark then flips scum, and I figured "lolverbal, you suck".  but then I re-read the interactions, or lack thereof, between Stark and other players, realized CTM was scum, and pushed hard at him.  He ended up winning the game anyway because I couldn't convince enough people to vote with me, but the point is I was able to figure out scum based on dead bodies - in that case, a dead scum body.

 

Sometimes that's all you need to break the game wide open.

Possibly. If anyone tells me anything too shady though I would expect other town players to call them out on it thus revealing the identity of scum. They have to be very careful and subtle to attempt a move like this.

I'm not mad. But again I have the privilege of being mod confirmed town. You know that whatever I say or do I am at least trying to win the game for town. My motivations are unquestionable, if nothing else. Why you wouldn't want to convince me that you're town I don't know. They might not listen to me but again my motivations are unquestionable so some people might listen who knows. I just find the whole thing unlikely and I even more question the fact that you didn't use your power on Verbal to make sure he's not just a SK trying to float to endgame. Like the one thing your power might have been good for and that could vet you to a certain extent and you didn't do it? wtf

 

Now I'd rather just roll the dice and lynch you and keep Verbal around. For now anyway.

I'm simply saying that smashs claim can be used to help or hurt town. It's a null factor.

Vote him if you think hes scum or dont vote him if you think hes town, but dont not vote him under the idea that his role can only be beneficial to town. It can also be harmful to town

What if he is a scum role cop, but his supposed one-time limit is BS? He hangs around until we summon him to resolve a dispute, but in the meantime he's been hunting for the doc/cop. The scum would have all the intel he gathered, meaning even a couple extra days of him surviving is invaluable to them while potentially devastating for the town.
