The Value Chart is a trap.  It is why Mac would not trade down.

For teams that trade up for a QB, they tend to pay more than the Value Chart.

Otherwise, you tend to get less.

Mac should have traded down out of Quinnen, picked up another pick he would have likely messed up, and picked Oliver, Bradbury, Lawrence or someone else.  Or just have picked Josh Allen.

Is the guy actually on ESPN? 

I generally don't love trading away picks but Lockett and Penny for a second this year and a third next is a pretty sweet deal.

A year after losing Doug Baldwin, I dont see a reality where the Seahawks trade Lockett.

And why would Douglas give up picks for a bust?  Makes no sense.  What role would he have here anyway?

People here wanted to give a WR $13-$15 million per year who had 30 less catches and 300 less yards than Lockett last year.

He is? He tore it in December and was already doing bike work in early February.  I'd be absolutely shocked if he was out for the year.  Maybe start on PUP.

He’s not going to be able to pass a physical right now. Not sure how a trade makes sense.

He also averaged 5.26 yards per carry for Seattle.  He didn’t have many carries, 150 over 2 years, but gained 789 yards.  I’m not saying he is a star but I think calling him a bum is a stretch.

Penny is rehabbing his ACL, and might not even be ready to play this year.

If the Seahawks want to trade him, I'll do our later 6th (#211) for Penny plus the Seahawks' 6th (#214). That's it.
