he's been at the helm for 10 months and we need asses in seats, NOW. Not in 2021.... Our current Oline consistent of someone from Endor, and another guy who will be out of the league immediately when we cut him.

Personally I am liking that we are passing on the high priced FAs. I liked Glasgow, but not spending on these high ticket FAs is a good thing IMO.  We have to face the reality we cant change the roster and OL in one year, even less so 7 hours of the tampering period.

Actually would like Van Noy a lot. 

Think our offseason is going to be eerily reminiscent of the Bills' last year. It's going to be a lot of mid-tier FAs.

If that’s the case Conklin and Glasgow would be Jets right now

With the high priced OL and top CB’s off the market, I could see the Jets signing Van Noy as well as a guy like Fowler to solve the EDGE issue once and for all.

Then patch the OL with guys like Van Roten and Wisniewski, maybe retain guys like Robby and Poole and continue working on the OL and WR corps at the top of the draft.

obviously im concerned about a lot of the guys i know they were interested about signing with other teams, but there is a lot of time left and this team needs a lot of players so we'll see where this goes.  Have to smash some of these next signings though in order to give them flexibility going into the draft.

Looking at the signings so far. I have to say the prices are high. The Hopkins trade and Bruckner trade are interesting.

It really comes back to one major factor. Can Douglas draft like his mentor?

If he can then it's basically the Idzik plan realized properly. Sign a bunch of lower tier FAs and then draft young talent

If he can't, then more of the same.

OLB Kyle Van Noy

 

That LB corps coupled with a rotating DL of McLendon, Q. Williams, Anderson, Shepherd, Fatukasi, Phillips, etc. gives us one helluva front seven that should keep us in a lot of games.

Couple that with an improved OL and WR corps and this team could potentially win 10+ games even if we have a deficiency at a position like CB.
