Popular Post Beerfish
No he won't. He will be a decent player who a few times a year makes a big play. He will be Leo Williams version 2. All very predictable.

KRL
There will be no wiggle room for Williams this year. He needs to show his "Alabama skills" from game 1 otherwise the bust label will be thrown around quickly 3
Popular Post JTJet
Yes. Dwayne Robertson = Quinnen Williams. Leave the college talk at home. Talk to me about their first seasons. Fight me. 4

Popular Post jgb
I’m convinced whoever picked after us every year flooded the media with false leaks about how “this guy is the best player in the draft!” Macc had no confidence in his own skills (admirable self-awareness) and thus couldn’t resist these types of players. 4
FidelioJet
He’ll be a solid run stopper that will have little impact on the pash rush. Basically one of many players that can be found in free agency every year. Right now we’re already paying him more than is worth to the team, but I guess he’s not a bust.

Could sign Snacks for a fraction of his salary and have at most a slight drop in production. Also Snacks would play goalline packages, and which Williams only did occasionally.

Overdrafted but not a terrible player. Kyle Brady in Round 4 would have been considered a great pick, kinda like if Leo Williams was taken in Round 3. Some guys are good players, NFL starters even, just taken too early. Think of Robert Gallery, considered the best Offensive Linemen to come into the Draft in years back in 2004. He was thought to be a franchise Left Tackle and taken 2nd overall by the Raiders. He never became that....but he was starting Guard in the NFL for about 8 years. Solid player, should have been taken in Round 3 or 4. I doubt Quinnen ever lives up to being taken #3 overall. It's hard to do that. But if two or three years from now we're saying that he was worth a 1st round pick then I think we're in good shape. At a minimum he needs to become a very good starter, above average. His absolute floor needs to be Leo Williams....a great run defender who generates QB pressure occasionally and gets a few sacks. That's the MINIMUM he needs to be. But if he becomes a consistent run stuffer and generates 8+ sacks from the inside every year then he was probably worth it....although I still would have preferred Josh Allen from Kentucky. 4

14 in Green
It's amazing how we despise all our recent 1st round picks, and constantly mock Macc for over drafting them, because he never got anything right. We never give one of them a break. Oh, wait.... 2

UntouchableCrew
Obviously his rookie year was underwhelming... But it's weird how many guys have written him off already. I wouldn't be shocked at all if he bounced back and kicked ass next year. He's really young. 1

BurnleyJet
Oh great let’s talk about “the best player in the draft” that we picked at #6th overall. Oh no the was Leonard Williams. Let’s make the same mistake again, because we totally must not draft the pass rusher that’s sitting there at #3. No Let’s take the fat goofy kid instead, to play one of our most stacked positions. I hate the dumb ass Jets drafting in the last decade, it’s been horrible. Drafting:- Mo Wilkerson Quentin Coples Sheldon Richardson Leonard Williams. Quinnen Williams. Please make this madness stop, no more D.T’s please!

Eaton Beaver
It is amazing that this organization hired guys like Macc with absolutely no balls to run this organization. Last year, both Josh Allen and DJ Metcalf were available and the dope takes the safest player. If he could have traded down a few spots that might have helped. If we had addressed edge, or receiver, those two players who were both very good, we would be in a much better spot right now. We can only hope that JD can snag an edge rusher in FA, or get a RT and C, which would give him more options in the draft. And of course we need QW to improve drastically this season.
