JohnnyLV
We may have needs on the OL and WR but those positions are deep, and we should be able to get a steal in the fourth or fifth rounds, or later, just doesn't make sense to build OL through the draft, it is easy to build an OL with later picks and free agency. You build teams up the middle of the defense. While Shepherd, Futakasi and Phillips had some moments (the PFF dorks even list Phillips and Futakasi as elite against the run and setting an edge) what we really need is solid pedigree on the defensive line. Thank goodness Quinnen, the "best player in the draft" (BPITD) fell to us last year. Sure the others outplayed him but the key to NFL success is building up the middle of the defense. Luckily we also got the BPITD at that most critical of positions, strong safety, and got the best SS in the entire NFL in Jamal. We are going to overpay him to stay with us because he is the best safety in the NFL!! He is the gamechanger !!!! Which brings us to this years draft. We have our QB in Sam, and there might be 3 QBs that go ahead of us in the draft. With any luck, the other bozo GMs will have a feeding frenzy on the OL and WR which will allow DERRICK BROWN to fall to us! What this team needs more than anything is a first round big body 3 technique. Look it is not every year you get a chance to draft one of these guys., At best, and this is not even realistic, you could get 5 of these guys in 9 years and build a DL "supergroup". And of course if you can supplement that with elite strong safeties like Adams and tiny MLBs well you win with DL and 1st rounders up the middle. So let the other guys waste their picks on those playmakers and big fatties that protect QBs, and pray that the real "steal" of the first round falls to us in Derrick Brown!! Now that this is clear, let there be no more OL and WR talk, and the nonsense of trading the Prez. I am going to go get a coffee at Dunkin. 3 14 1

You have a young player that you drafted number 1 last year. You can pick up a free agent to be next to him like Snacks Harrison or some one like him. But you need to protect your young QB and when you could get a stud OT or even a real good blocking guard this is one piece of making the most important player on your team better. So yeah the offensive line is a must.

Greenseed4
This post makes me feel great about all my downvoted butt fumble posts. Some y’all dumb; don’t know a brilliant post when it smacks you in the face. If you draft the best player at his position regardless of team need, you build the best team of BEST players. We should look at DT, TE, and OG, because they’re better than the 3rd or 4th best OT.
