Popular Post Dcat
this is hysterical. Widow tells Larry that her husband woke up in the middle of the night screaming "Watson". Widow asks Larry if it is some reference to Sherlock Holmes. Larry explains to her the nightmare inducing trauma of the Jets passing on DeShaun Watson in the 2017 draft [and instead drafting some safety]. Oh boy. 1

No one actually kills themselves because of the game... its a droll humorous comment on the original joke. Larry may be into real life improvised comedy... but my sense of humor is just a bit more morose.

Popular Post whodeawhodat
https://nypost.com/2020/03/02/larry-david-gets-his-revenge-on-the-f-king-jets-on-curb-your-enthusiasm/ Revenge for ignoring his Lamar Jackson advice? On Sunday night’s episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” Larry David took aim at the Jets with several jokes about his beloved franchise. The episode centers around David’s friend, Carl, who kills himself because of the team’s struggles. “I can’t take any more disappointment,” the suicide note read, a couple of scenes after Carl is ranting about a fictitious season-ending Le’Veon Bell injury. “The Jets killed Carl — and a little bit of the Knicks,” David said. “Last year started with such promise then [Sam] Darnold gets mono, season’s over by Game 3,” David later tells a friend. When David reveals to Carl’s widow Veronica his theory about the reason behind the suicide, she magically responds, “The f–king Jets.” A phrase that gets repeated several times throughout the episode. “He loved them so much. The Jets ruined our marriage. I couldn’t stand to be around him… One night he just woke up and he yelled, ‘Watsonl'” Veronica tells Larry. “I think that’s a reference to DeShaun Watson who the Jets passed on drafting in 2017,” David tells her. The two later argued over the infamous Austin Seferian-Jenkins fumble that cost the Jets a rare win over the Patriots in 2017. The “Seinfeld” creator is among the many tortured Jets fans, and he hilariously found his way to mock the franchise.
