I was supposed to see him at the Blue note I think last year and never made it. Damn. I remember saying this might be my last chance too. My favorite Things feels appropriate here and McCoy's solo from about 2:18-7:02 is sublime Not super familiar with his solo work but I know this one well . LOVE that he stated he left Coltranes band after a Love Supreme because he felt it was not in sync with the jazz he loved. I felt the same way, never got the Love Supreme thing and I love Coltrane.
