People blaming the media is getting really old. The media hasn’t done anything to exacerbate this problem, didn’t cancel anything, etc. The media has simply reported facts. Period.

So, I am very pissed about the cancellation of March Madness.  All events are being cancelled where large groups of people are together.  Soo, fast forward a year.  Should we get back to normal, nooooo we must keep these safeguards in place to protect our country.  Let's call it the TSA on Steroids.  No more concerts, sporting events, plays, etc.... all in the name of safety.

Are we better off in this scenario?  It is a slippery slope.  Once an stupid idea gets it's foot in the door, it is hard to get rid of it.  Should we be cautious? yes.  Should we be doing what is happening now? hell no

Just my two cents.

Mostly its March Madness, and I feel bad for kids like this from a Gonzaga player:

To be fair, if the NCAA played the tournament and this kid caught COVID from another player, his parents would have sued the NCAA for millions

First world problems.  People are spoiled.
 

They aren’t doing it to stop the illness.  They are doing it to slow it down so the health care system can keep up.  
 

It is amazing how people don’t realize how easy they have had it, that throughout most of human history, people weren’t able to do most of those things anyway.
