Recommended Posts

As of Saturday, 211 confirmed cases in Maine.

3394 people tested negative.

1 death so far, a man in his 80s.

We both have no symptoms as of today. Found some particulate masks I bought years ago, so Im giving my Mom and stepfather some, and Im wearing one if I go anywhere.

Hang in there brothers and sisters.

Not enough testing
Testing right now causes more harm than good in many cases. People rushing to the hospital to be tested because they are scared puts them at risk for actually getting the virus when they may not have had it. Uses up supplies which are drastically low in alot of places because even if someone is unlikely to have the virus you have to treat them as if they do If they say they had a cough or shortness of breath. In most cases people get sent home to self quarentine anyway so the only ones who test results matter for right now are people who are very sick essentially

looks like Johnson and Johnson may be leading the race for a vaccine with trials expected by September and availability early in 2021.

https://duckduckgo.com/?q=johnson+and+johnson+covid&t=chromentp&ia=web

If true (and i hope it comes ASAP) I am going to have some mixed feelings about the Johnsons.

With respect to the Knicks and Rangers owner.... "if you cannot say something nice..."

As of Monday, 275 confirmed cases in Maine.

41 people have fully recovered.

3 deaths reported.

There have been many many many out of state vehicles spotted all over the interstate. People are trying to run away from the situations they were in, but likely will add to the infestation up here. We dont have the resources to take care of the people living here, so now things will be even more scarce...  Shouldve shut the border down.

I thought the Johnsons had nothing to do with the company anymore

They don't have anything to do with the company anymore... they sold it all off

Internal conflict resolved in that case.

Well, Johnson and Johnson is still a bad company that knew Talcum powder was causing cancer and didn't care... and then there is the whole Roundup Cancer suit that they lost about all the landscape workers getting cancer from their roundup products.

I thought Roundup is produced by Monsanto.

A lot of places in the midwest and eastern seaboard are going to see spikes because of the sheer negligence of the spring break crowd. Add the Mardi Gras revelers and you've got the recipe for serious problems all over the US.

Idiots!

The NFL’s current plan remains to begin its regular season on time and with fans present in stadiums, NFL general counsel Jeff Pash said (via Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, on Twitter). Owners did not discuss the prospect of a shortened season on their conference calls Monday or Tuesday, Pash added (via the Washington Post’s Mark Maske, on Twitter). The league is “pretty confident” it will be able to play a full 16-game season this year, Pash notes (via Maske, on Twitter).

I don't remember any other flu or viruses that shut down every major sporting league, my daughters school or thousands upon thousands of jobs etc, etc.

I remember a 911 terror attack too while I was in H.S. And schools went on. Never once shut down.

This Coronavirus is going to morph into a world wide global human genocide. It's already begining to happen too with over 40,000 already dead around the world (not including the thousands upon thousands currently on death beds) and this number is going to reach millions upon millions of world wide deaths before it ever gets better (if ever @ all).

Italy has already lost over 10,000 people.

And what happens just imagine when another Coronavirus strain becomes even more deadly than this current one? Living freaking nightmare.

America is going to be hit the very worst and it won't even be close. We are not built for this and we weren't ready for this and we're the most diverse country in the world with people from all over the world we are literally screwed.

Hopefully the people who make the decisions by then are up to the task and listen to the science at that point.
