PepPep
Detroit has been rumored to be linked to Okudah and they traded Slay as they were hoping to so I'm not sure why they would suddenly be projected to take Brown. Seems odd. wonder what the reasoning is here. But ok, let's say they do and Okudah does slide all the way to 11. Although, why wouldn't the Jaguars take him? Anyway, I digress, let's say he's there at 11. With Wills on the board I would think LONG AND HARD if I am the Jets before passing on him. To me, Wills is a plug and play OT who is versatile enough to play LT, RT or OG at the NFL level. He is just what the Jets need and can lock down either side for Sam for the next decade. At some point the Jets need to decide if they need to invest in defense or offense. A Franchise OT or a Shutdown CB? Might be time to protect Sam and invest in the O-line. 3
PepPep
I do love the rest of the mock. Mims, Weaver, Kindley, Charles are some of my favorite prospects. Except... -Not sure there is room on roster for another TE -I personally love Gibson the RB/WR/KR out of Memphis and would target him, even if it meant a 3rd or 4th round pick. -Mims is great but I'd like at least 2 WRs out of this draft. -Did I miss something, how is Kindley, one of the top OGs in the draft sliding to the 6th round?

Offense wins in the regular season - you need to score points. We should be trying to establish an explosive offense in this draft. Also, why draft a TE? We are all set there. We need at least on OT in the first two rounds. I would also take a receiver before D in the first if the OL aren't there.
19andOhWait
Yeah it was Okudah or the O-Line guys at 11 consensus is Okudah is an elite prospect 3-4 of the OT's will be gone by then I'd have to imagine but who knows Kindley and probably Willie Gay most likely off the board earlier agreed Literally forgot about Herndon while drafting lol should have been another WR there Antonio Gibson like him a lot! thshadow
I thought the consensus was that there's no way Mims is there for us in the 2nd round. And there's no way we're taking Okudah, even if he's there. (At least I pray that's true.)
jetstream23
Okudah and Young are the only Defenders I'd want in Round 1. But, if one of them is there at #11 then there's a reason....and we should probably stay away. Oh, the circular logic here!

19andOhWait
The Jets are bringing back CB Arthur Maulet on a one-year contract, per source. This is a good depth signing for the Jets. He knows Gregg Williams' system and can start in a pinch. In fact, he started six games last season. The Jets need corners. Current depth chart: Brian Poole, Bless Austin, Maulet, Nate Hairston and Darryl Roberts, whose roster spot is tenuous. They have to make a decision on Roberts before Sunday, when a $2M guarantee kicks in. Cimini recent tweet Darryl Roberts decision will happen this weekend seems like See what happens in the CB room from there!
