is hunt playing anywhere?  that casino bs was pretty bad optics.

Browns want a 2nd round pick for him.  Dude only 24 and a rushing champ, with low miles.  If Jets werent married to Bell, i'd have my fingers crossed to get him.  As it is, Tampa Bay is all in and should be burning up the phone line to get him.  Perfect fit since he can catch Brady's check downs & screens.

I’m still amazed Maccagnan gave Bell all that money when there was so little competition for Bell.  It’s utterly disgraceful.

He had to try to make a “splash”, do something, ANYTHING, to save his sorry, stupid a*s, in a job he never deserved in the first place as he was about to be FIRED as a Scout in Houston.  Going into 2019 the Jet roster were so lacking any “name” talent you questioned whether they were actually a pro team.  This was going into Maccagnan’s 5th YEAE.  Lucky for Maccagnan there is an owner, hands down the stupidest owner in the NFL who owns the Jets and who cut fat paychecks to the sack of sh*t for 5 years, rather than cutting ties after 2, to of course save face.

I wasn’t unhappy initially with the Bell signing because I thought he’d be a security blanket for Darnold, but then again I was wrong since you don’t choose a back with his running style to run behind the 3rd worst OL (put together by Maccagnan also), not to mention it looked many times that Bell has lost a gear in his step, undetected by Maccagnan.

I had no big issue with the Bell signing, other than mac over paying.  We needed a bell cow #1 back and we got one who did not perform as well as we hoped.  Bell will be better if the craptacular oline is improved and would be better with a better coach.

Really we have no idea what we have in Bell? - Our line sucked, but Powell hitting the hole quickly looked like an All-Pro in comparison.

Im hoping he’s not done, and we could do will another option at Running back. Since another season of 3.2 yards per carry will kill this offence.

The people that wanted Bell are the ones who wanted Revis back a few years ago, and are the same ones that want Clowney now

Nope... I wanted Bell... Hey I still think the guy can be awesome... it's just a matter of using them in the proper way... who could have predicted that our master oc/hc could not figure out how to use one of the best weapons of the last decade in the NFL.... And our genius general manager would feild probably the worst offensive line in NFL history.  Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

Bell will have to get the piano removed from his back in order to make an impact. Less workout videos, more working out.

I'll go one step further. Clowney is CJ  Mosley part II. Two really good players who make way too much money for their production. This is not how to build a franchise and JD seemingly knows this.

Well, to be fair to Macc, Bell is a better player than Gordon. But regardless, you don't pay running backs big money in the NFL. I loved Bell as a player, but that contract was always stupid.

The same can be said for Mosley. Another great player, but signed to a ridiculous contract.

That's what you get when you bid against yourself.

You're right, Gordon is actually better.  You guys just don't get it

Melvin's average yards per carry is awful. If it wasn't for the volume of goal line touches and TDs hes had over the past few years he'd be scrambling for a backup job right now.
