Not a bad idea, will add a little more fun after we're done.

Or please add any other suggestions. Hopefully it doesn't become a popularity contest. After looking at many drafters picks, I must say there is some really good competition.  Just some awesome drafts by many.

Very happy with the way my draft went all things considered. Tua going 2nd messed me up. But I bounced back nicely. Part of me wonders how the top half of my draft would have went if I took Herbert instead of AT at 5 ?

Probably would have went...

Herbert

Lamb

Swift

Jackson/Wanogho

Functional if not better WR's still going in the 7th round imo.

Good draft gents, and well run as usual by Lith and DCat and the rest of the crew.

I truly think we have a pretty smart group of drafters that fill holes do not reach wildly and are well informed.

Nice job everyone especially considering what’s going on in the real world.
As far as available FA. My list is

Adrian Killins - RB, UCF

I think he would be good as a slot receiver like in the East West Shrine Game and STs.

That's it?  Short list.  I stopped after 6, but I could have kept going. I think that Muse is more likely to get drafted than Harrell, but I took the guy I wanted.

I have a few more like Bryce Sterk. I think he’d be a good STer. Tom took my favorite small school guy Derrek Tuszka. There’s others but my top two guys were Tuszka and Killins.

As far as UDFA, the Miami Dolphins 1st selection would be...

Levanta Taylor - CB, FSU

Levonta-Taylor-CB-Florida-State.jpg

Did not realize we left him on the board.  Pretty sure he was top CB recruit in the country coming out of high school, and now he is not even drafted in the JN draft.

I didn't draft him because there really was no need for him. The Dolphins are set at corner with Xavien Howard & Byron Jones on the outside, plus Nik Needham in the slot. Plus I already drafted 2 safeties, so no room for him there. But I definitely had my eyes on him

For my last pick, I took Chase Harrell.  Interesting kid.  Had a decent year as a redshirt sophomore WR at Kansas in 2017.  He had a real rough offseason, couple of DUIs and was there when his brother was shot and killed after an altercation at a party.  He actually graduated and transferred to Arkansas where he put on weight and played TE.  Had little to no success, but he ran a 4.51 with a 6.76 3 cone, 36" vert and 10'7" broad at 6'4" 249.  He ran \DE drills and supposedly looked smooth.

Quote

FAYETTEVILLE -- The most impressive testing results among the dozen Arkansas Razorbacks at pro day on Wednesday came from the guy who recently switched positions again.

Chase Harrell, a receiver at Kansas who transferred and played tight end at Arkansas, worked out as a 6-4, 249-pound defensive end inside the Walker Pavilion for the 22 NFL teams in attendance. He also ran a few routes and caught passes.

Harrell posted the fastest time in the 40-yard dash (an unofficial 4.51 seconds) and the 3-cone drill (6.76 seconds) among all the participants. Harrell also tied cornerback Britto Tutt with a 36-inch vertical jump, and had a best-of-the-day 10-7 on the broad jump. His 20-yard shuttle time (4.21) trailed only defensive back Matt Berry (4.13). Offensive lineman Austin Capps put up 35 reps on the bench press, easily winning the day in that category.

@Lith @Dcat and the two NYs for hosting this event again... your time is not taken for granted.

In work in the health care system and this whole 2020 has been balls to the wall, so I'm not six fingers deep in this class as I usually am... In otherwords i don't know which UDFA i would go after.

Here's what i would do -- I would trade R. Freeman for a future midround pick, ride Lindsay and Gordon and bring in two UD backs to compete....

James Robinson of Illinois St and Benny Lemay of Charlotte.

Nice work to all the participants....  I'm comfortable saying that most GMs put together nice balanced drafts... we've had some obvious winners in the past, but this is too close to call. I personally liked what @JiF did, but the list behind him is long.

It's hard to look at the drafts in a vacuum because every team had different types of ammo. King P did a nice job for the Phins but they had a ton of draft capital. I was missing my first and third and I believe one poster....maybe JTJet ?didn't pick until the third.

One thing I noticed is that there wasn't many head scratching picks, so it looks like most took this seriously and that's all we should ask for.

Sooo lets vote! We just all spent a week researching players.  The picks made by everybody were extremely well thought out and targeted team needs. Great job everybody.  This really broadened my scope of so many prospects I had no idea about. So I propose a simple scoring system:

Each GM selects their 3 top GM's. Top choice 10 points,  2nd choice 5 points, 3rd choice 2 points.  Tally it up and see who had the best draft.  This is pretty simple and painless.
