Dinamite Posted March 27, 2020 Share Posted March 27, 2020 Any disadvantage if say Giants/Jets/Eagles are operating out of their basements with only a few people around, vs some other teams who may have access to their facility by then? I can see some leniency with clocks and getting trades in on time given the various potential setups. I liked the idea floated by Schefter and Connor Rogers to break the draft further (e.g. 1st round day 1, 2nd round, day 2; 3-4th rounds day 3; 5-7 day 4). This provides a challenge I don’t think any of us have ever seen NFL teams have to go through. It’ll be interesting to see how GM’s play it with the minimal contact with draft prospects. Instead of falling in love with guys for arbitrary reasons during the weeks leading up to the draft, teams are going to be forced to draft guys based on tape, production, and external research.
