Belichick’s demise has been foretold many times on to prove the soothsayers and Cassandras wrong. 
 

Many Jets fans like me thought that Groh/ Parcells/ meant that Brady Belichick was a one year aberration. Then Pennington’s rise meant Belichick’s downfall. Then Weiss left and the 1st and 2nd Belichick era generation defensive players began being moved out. Then the time was ripe when the Pats’ cheating apparatus was exposed. Then Rex openly hunted Belichick, actually inflicted some damage, and he seemed ripe for the fall too. Now the pig seems ripe because Brady is gone. The story goes on.

The man may still have another rabbit to pull out of the hat.

He forgets that one of the years without Brady the Pats were 11-5 and missed the playoffs.

3 seasons in Cleveland was spent rebuilding a lousy Browns team, which he did into a playoff team.  Then Modell announced they were moving to Baltimore, all. hell broke out and no one could have won.  So under normal circumstances he probably goes to the playoffs with the Browns twice after rebuilding.  

Off to NE where his first season he had Bledsoe while his 6th round QB sat.  After one season his Pats go 11-5 and wins a SB.

Yeah, a fraud.

You guys do know Brady has Bruce Arians in Tampa? He’s a pretty damn good coach in his own right
