Philc1
Lawrence Taylor sucked against the run but he was great at breaking Joe Theisman’s ankle

Gil thinks he is more of a late first round type guy RANK 2 Quinnen Williams, DT School: Alabama | Year: Sophomore (RS) Marked his first year as a starter in 2018. He has very good height (6-foot-3) and speed (4.83-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine) and boasts great explosion and strength. He should be a very good pass rusher as a tackle. He will overpower you. Athletic and tough, Williams may end up being the best player in the draft. There are lots of Pro Bowland All-Pro honors in his future. He was very dominant at Alabama. I would NOT have drafted him and said so at the time. One thing to consider is that for someone like Brandt it is easier to determine who will likely underperform as opposed to those that will be standout all pros. He still considers Simmons a first rounder, but if he drops at 11 he is not a sure thing. IMO the only "sure" thing is Thomas the OT. His floor is just higher. A complete failure for him would be above average OT, which is also why I think the mocks showing him dropping are way off.
