GeorgeJetson
26. New York Jets Way-too-early ranking: 25 Three words: Better draft well. General manager Joe Douglas, in his first offseason with the Jets, is patching holes with short-term fixes. Only three of their eight new players received multiyear contracts. Of the three, only one (center Connor McGovern) has security beyond 2020. This puts the pressure on Douglas to draft well. Patching is OK, but the team still needs long-term solutions at wide receiver, offensive tackle, cornerback and outside linebacker. The Jets always seem to be in a perpetual state of rebuilding. It's painful for the fan base, but Douglas deserves a fair chance to do it his way.-- Rich Cimini

kevinc855
i'm also slightly concerned about all the 1 year deals but lets see how the draft plays out...….but this ranking is garbage Colts at 14 just because of Rivers? Bears at 19? Huh? Dolphins ahead of us.... Nahh, this one doesn't smell right

FidelioJet
Seems high... But let’s see how how the rest of the off season plays out. Hopefully we can and will outperform this.

New York Mick
Jax at 28?? The writer must not know they drafted the all world game changing second coming of Lawrence Taylor last year and drafting a passrusher is the most important thing you can do. Given the schedule right now unless Darnold really takes a huge leap or Douglas has an unbelievable draft I’m thinking 4-7 wins is the range. 1
ScarletKnight89
This is fair. The team just hasn't gotten that much better yet. They've added a couple of solid offensive lineman. Joe Douglas has never been the man in charge before so it will be interesting to see how his first draft goes.

Greenseed4
If you click through, you'll see that the bottom teams are very closely aligned with the draft order. This is just lazy journalism. 32. Bengals 31. Redskins 30. Lions 29. Giants 28. Jaguars 27. Panthers 26. Dolphins 25. Jets 24. Chargers 23. Cardinals 22. Browns
