He knew the defensive play call before the snap and he had communication to his helmet throughout the play. Add to that many key defensive holding calls on 3rd and long and key situations. Plus his OL was permitted to hold by the corrupt officials. There's just too many examples to list.

The Jets have talent at RB, QB and TE. A good QB will always elevate the play of his WRs IF he can get protection. The Jets have two proven weapons in Perriman and Crowder. They have unproven speedsters in V.Smith on the outside and Berrios in the slot. They brought in veteran Doctson to add some competition and depth. Adding a 2nd or 3rd or 4th round prospect- OR TWO like Claypool, Pittman, Peoples-Jones, Jefferson, Edwards, Cephus, Tyler Johnson, Gandy-Golden, Aiyuk, Shenault, etc. would be more than enough to bolster this WR corps and turn it completely around, assuming the pick doesn't completely bust. Conversely, the Jets have Fant and Edoga. Thats pretty much it. They DESPERATELY need a TOP TIER OT. Not a developmental guy in Rd. 2 or 3. They need THEIR guy in Rd. 1 (maybe thats via trade down, sure). But they need a top tier OT talent they can bring in to immediately compete for one of the OT spots. Perriman is far from proven, 5 good games out of 4 years isn't enough. Crowder is a fine 3rd WR but he's not a feature guy.
