I'm not interested in paying that much draft capital and paying him Mack money. I like, don't love Yannick. If we are going to spend draft capital I would rather trade for Trent, as he at least opens up our possibilities better at the top of the draft.

I have no problem trading either 3rd and a later pick or player for a guy like Yannick,OBJ or Trent Williams but for me #11 and #48 are pretty much off limits and I’m not trading back.

He’s a helluva player and will be our best rusher since John Abe. The issue is not trading for him but the issue is trading for him AND giving him 16-18 million a year.

May be his last and in Win Now! Not sure about GM. I can see them moving up in draft, not back. IMO

You definitely won’t get any elite FAs without elite FA money. Not saying that JD should go for that, but this world where we can sign elite talent for deals with a one year out does not exist.

I would do it straight up (Yannick for Adams). I like Adams and all, but great edge beats great safety all the time.

But pretty sure Jax would never do it.
