If we already had a WR1 and needed to simply bolster the position, then sure we can easily wait until RD 2 or even RD3 for a pretty good WR prospect, but there is a good chance that 8-10 of the top WRs are gone by the time we pick in RD2.

Grabbing the 11th best WR in even a GREAT WR draft class is not exactly helping this offense get more explosive.

I am pretty sure that if an elite LT and Elite WR are available at 11 we go LT. But if the LTs that fall to us are rated as late 1st prospects and Jeudy is sitting their and Douglas has a top 10 value on him he would pull the trigger on Jeudy.

If you look at the great receivers in the league today, many of them were 2-4 round picks. Michael Thomas, Tyreek Hill, Antonio Brown, Stefon Diggs, Keenan Allen, Adam Theilen, etc. This is an all time great receiver draft -- there will be guys who can play at our 2nd round pick.

Less true for lineman.

You are right this is a deep WR class.  However if the top 4 OL are gone before we pick(which is possible) then we would have our pick if any WR.  Either way I would be happy because they fill a major need

There is going to be a run on lineman and wide receivers and all of the top-tier guys will be gone by the middle of the second round.

We either have to trade Adams and get more picks.. or we have to trade down and then trade back up from the second round. Mr. Douglas is going to have to be very creative or it's going to be a wash and we will lose out on value.

We definitely can't just sit still where we are. We either have to trade someone for more draft picks, or trade next year's pics to be able to move up and down. This is reality cuz everybody knows where the talent is in this year's draft. It's wartime and I really hope our new GM is very aggressive. There's a lot of good to be had in this draft.

Well we've gotta hope Joe Douglas is better at drafting than Idzik and Big Mac. I can lists busts at every position in every round of the draft.

Yes but Macc, statistically confirmed, drafted busts at a higher rate than any GM in the last decade.  Maybe all-time, it depends on what Matt Millen's pick bust rate was.
