There will be good wrs in round 3 but I honestly think people are going a little overboard with who they think is going to be falling from round 1 and from round 2.

There is going to be a run on wrs in the first 2 rounds of this draft.  There will be some good players left in the 3rd and 4th for sure because of the depth of the position in the draft, but some of these names projected by people in these rounds are a little out there.

some good wr talent there in 3rd round per these mocks while we also build a OL for decades

Yes, some of these OL will still be blocking for the Jets 20, 30 years from now.

Rd2 Off G - Netane Muti

Rd3 WR - Bryan Edwards

Rd3 Off C - Keith Ishmael

Rd4 CB - Amik Robertson

Rd5 DL - James Smith-Williams

my draft preferences for [positions per round... I will let the smarter people fill in the names BUT keep position for fun to see what folks can come up with. THANKS

Rd1 LT- ?

Rd2 Off G- ?

Rd3 WR- ?

Rd3 Off C- ?

Rd4 CB or RB- ?

Rd5 DL/OLB aka EdgeRusher- ?

Rd6 depending on who picked in Rd4; RB or CB- ?

Rd6 ; BAA- ?

************************************************************************************************************

Have dominant OL for decade w/solid depth. Good OL=playoffs.

Great year for WRs, a bunch of UDFA WRs would in past years go in 5th-7th rounds.. We grab a few gems here as Douglas shows he knows his stuff..also another safety and RB

Rd1 LT- Jedrick WIlls or Andrew Thomas

Rd2 Off G- Jonah Jackson

Rd3 WR- Bryan Edwards or Van Jefferson

Rd3 Off C- Nick Harris

Rd4 CB or RB- Darrynton Evans

Rd5 DL/OLB aka EdgeRusher- Trevis Gipson

Rd6 depending on who picked in Rd4; Nevelle Clark

Rd6 ; BAA- WR Isaiah Coulter

I love Muti but many folks predicting huge freefall for him due to injury history and no medical re-checks.  Matt Miller has him going undrafted which would be insane, but consnsus seems to be that he'll plummet.

Yup.  I think that may be the issue with these simulators, they aren't really up to date.  Plus users that may be feeding the simulators are just selecting the next highest rated player without taking into the latest news which just preserves them being ranked high.  I've seen some players recently rumored moving up into the 1st in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.  But it was an interesting and fun exercise.

Could this be why Joe Douglas signed four interior offensive linemen in free agency and has two others who started NFL games on the roster?

Maybe the Jets do make people happy and go tackle early because man I expect people are going to be disappointed when no centers or guards get drafted.

But for fun for the OP. You gave me too much freedom since you forgot the second sixth round pick.

1. LT - Mekhi Becton, Louisville

2. OG - Lloyd Cushenberry, LSU (There's no guard worth this pick but Cushenberry can play guard too)

3. WR - Chase Claypool, Notre Dame (Think this is past the better WR tier and not sure Claypool's available)

3. OC - Matt Hennessy, Temple (Our long snapper's brother)

4. RB - Anthony McFarland, Maryland (Seems like a classic option as a mid-round reach that frustrates fans when the position they want is passed on)

5. EDGE - Trevis Gibson, Tulsa (Raw but athletic and I mock Tuszka too much)

6. CB - Stantley Thomas-Oliver, Florida International

6. WR - Darnell Mooney, Tulane

actually really like this!! I would substitute Darrynton Evans RB in place of 4th Rd McFarland,,but sweet effort derp

I’d prefer Evans as well and Gibson over both. McFarland just seems like a classic Jets mid round pick. Nobody likes it, everybody gets the upside but nobody thinks he’ll reach it - and he busts.

If we got Evans,,damn,,I wouldnt give a damn if Bell got hurt,,would take that worry off our shoulders like last year we were burdened with it
