I voted Ruggs because I think the Top 4 OT Jeudy and Lamb will all be gone by the time 11 comes around and we pick. The way I see the draft unfolding Tua and either Simmons or Okudah will be there at 11 and I think we trade down. But it will be a fascinating draft. Maybe most unpredictable ever.

Wirfs at 16-1 is probably the best money play

I think the "other" is the best expectancy because Okudah is a wild card and if all 4 OT, Lamb and Jeudy are gone and we do not like the trade offers he has a great chance to be the pick.

i voted Becton at 8-1 but that's a waste of money most likely

I just don't think he makes it to 11

if allowed to vote again it feels like they have eyes on these Bama Wide outs - i'd vote Jeudy 10-1

I want Ruggs but it something feels like it could be Jeudy  - fwiw I'm fine with either (and Lamb too)

these all should end but being productive players, barring injury

Of the top 4 best bets, give me:

1.  Thomas

2.  Jeudy

3.  Lamb

4.  Becton

I can't imagine Wirfs being there, but he'd be my 1a/1b with Thomas if by some miracle he is.

I want no part of Ruggs at 11.

How bout Josh Jones +2000? If they trade down or something

Yes but that's so hard to predict....not only how far we'd trade down but who we'd take.  I think we'd actually end up with a WR if we move down, not an OT.  There are several good OT's in the early part of the 2nd round we might look at.

Best just to operate like we stick and pick at 11.

I think Andrew Thomas is the D'Brickashaw-esque pick-a solid LT when the team needs a functional LT.   This is the pick you have to make when you otherwise only have 1 functional OT on the roster.

I am voting against Becton going top 10.  Not only the positive test, which to me represents a intelligence failure more than a dependency problem, but I don't know how you pick a project top 10.

Andrew Thomas is not a project.  He may not end up as good as Joe Thomas, but if he was a FA this year he would earn a contract 3x what he will be paid as draft pick 11.  He will get the job done and protect Sam and win the Jets more games than anyone else this year.

Here are the actual odds

Interestingly, most sites with O/U odds have Wills and Wirfs going by the 8.5 pick, with Thomas and Becton taken somewhere around the 12.5 pick.  Thomas before, Becton mixed.  I chose Thomas but he may be gone by then.

I went with Ruggs as he's most likely to be on the board.

I think there's more chance that all OT's are gone and even if there's one left it may be our first or second WR vs the fourth OT.

Lamb and Jeudy are more likely but with the odds above I'd go with Ruggs for value. I'd bet a few teams are in love with his potential.

This is how I see it playing out... both Jeudy and Becton will be there when the Jets are on the clock. After much debate in the war room, in the end JD goes with the WR. Shortly thereafter it's announced that the Jets have acquired Trent Williams from the Redskins in exchange for the 79th pick.

Jefferson for $335 to win $10,000.  Gotta take chances in life.
