As fans of this team we live on hope, so it's to be expected that hopes were high 4 months removed from actually playing the game

Thought this would be an interesting check in. Started this poll before the season. A plurality of Jets fans picked Aaron Rodgers as Sam Darnold's ceiling and Andy Dalton as his floor. Current thoughts?

Now Andy Dalton is the optimistic ceiling lol. I had Romo as the ceiling so shame on me, too.

Think I would have gone with Romo or Dalton so your vote is not crazy.   And Sanchez for floor.

Can't argue with a floor that's already in the basement.

Ceiling -- too rich for my blood.

Realistic -- Fitz I don't buy -- Darnold is bad Fitz without being balanced by good Fitz. Plummer, closer.

You didn't ask where he'll eventually be though. My guess is Andy Dalton. Nice 10+ year career, Not quite top 10, but close. Somewhere in the 11-15 range.

I think this is on the nose with the options given. If the floor is the worst he can be, Sanchez is the only QB on the first list who's been as bad as Darnold has been. I can totally see a Romo ceiling. Some really high highs with nice escapes and gutsy plays, but some inconsistency.
