munchmemory Posted May 3, 2020 Share Posted May 3, 2020 Made the mistake of streaming the Coen Brothers' Hail Caesar last night. Usually, I am a huge fan of their work. But this flick had me scratching my head as to WTF they were doing. Non-existent story, cliche characters, and a resolution which was a stretch at best. First 15 minutes might be some of the worst I've witnessed; just dull and perplexingly meandering. They needed the late Bob McKee to explain story structure. EDIT: Oops, wrong thread.
