raw good athlete with a tremendous work ethic with some good instincts, I don't much about him, but i will keep an open mind. We have holes all over, and he is a versatile DB - can't have enough of those.

Jets have holes in the secondary so I’m sure they’ll fit him in somewhere back there. This kid can absolutely fly and was toasting all those guys in the track competition

"Ashtyn Davis projects best into a role as a Cover-2 free safety at the pro level. Davis has strong tackling skills on the back end and some effective reps dropping down into the box to play man to man in the slot, but he's generally lacking in run support in the box to be asked upon to play such a role with consistency in the pros. Too many bad angles and too many reps getting stuck to blocks negate his versatility. Putting him in primarily Cover 2 will allow his deep range to be more effective."

Davis can play inside along with Poole. Not the position I was hoping they went with but I can see the value. They probably just didn't like any of the remaining CBs. They can get Hennessy or Cushenberry at 79.
