He's most skilled in the early stages of the run, where his sticky feet and quick eyes help him find his initial rush tracks, but his lack of burst and second-level creativity make him more of a grinder than a playmaker. He has the play traits to compete for a backup role in a one-cut scheme, and his special teams experience improves his chances. Sounds like the next Bilal Powell. These types of guys can have long careers as capable RB2's.

IndianaJet
People complaining need to realize that this is how a much of the later rounds go. Picks come so fast they don’t get formally announced and some never get talked about by the announcers. It’s like this every year.

However, that should change today, as Perine could end up being a Round 4 pick. Where will he end up? That’s the big question now.On Saturday morning, Perine sent out a simple 1-word tweet, indicating he’s being patient as his draft wait continues: La’Mical Perine ✔@LP_deucedeuce Patience .., Perine does have a big supporter in the media world, though, as ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit praised him during a TV appearance on Saturday morning. “I think Lamical Perine is going to make somebody very happy,” Herbstreit said on College GameDay. RoadFan
I've seen Perine in person at the Swamp a couple of times. Not a great athlete, just OK. The positive is he is versatile and makes good choices. He gets what is blocked. Good in pass pro. Perine just isnt going to make something out of nothing.
