Biadasz to cowboys

they’re having a draft

Dallas does well with drafting lineman. Their problem is putting it all together. Tons of talent there.

Bradley Anae falling to RD 5(not quite there yet) is FAR more surprising to me than Biadiaz.  Anae isn't a super athlete, but not awful either and had great production.

Yeah, another WR is the way to go here. DPJ, Mooney, Hodgins, Coulter, Proche.

Are we not forbidden to cut him while injured?

I'm assuming that this obviously after he's declared healthy, which he'd have to be to compete for a spot.

Exactly. I guess people forgot just how God awful the Oline was. JD has done an amazing job addressing this dire and long overdue need.

Thank you!!

Some of us think it is possible to improve the OL by ignoring FA and not drafting anybody except someone in RD 1 of the NFL draft.

You can't make it up!

I didn't even notice him at first when I commented on Doctson lol.

I though it was pretty much the consensus opinion that Enunwa is done. Do we save money by cutting him?

Another disastrous contract.

Can’t cut him unless/until he is medically cleared.

That’s a good analysis of Dallas.  They draft well but always choke at the end of the year

Williamson maybe, Winters definitely. He's been a solid team guy this entire time. Plays through some serious injuries, never bitches. Jets have handled their home grown guys in some awfully ****ed up ways over the last ten years (see: Cotchery and Mangold) and I think a lot of this stuff matters in the larger scheme of things. Not to mention you need guys with enough standing in a huddle that can keep everyone focused when you get a Santonio/Miami situation. The guys Douglas drafted seem to be on that level but reality is rookie words don't count for sh*t. In seasons like this upcoming one the Jets need guys like Winters, who not only know the ins and outs of the league but the specific organization itself.

Winters doesn't fit into the scheme they want to run. He's the opposite of Fant, VanRoten, McGovern and Lewis in style. Idk how you justify paying $7.5 million to a guy coming off a major injury who is a style mismatch.

Ravens too.  They seem perfectly willing to take whoever drops to them and seem to get good value at every pick.

Not sure why the hell Lemieux plummeted so far.  He was as high as an early 2nd round prospect.

Jets chose Clark over Lemieux. Let’s see how that works out.

basically drafted an entirely new offensive line.  2 tackles, a guard, factor in hernandez from last year and theyre a center away from a complete overhaul.

gettleman has been pretty bad with trades and FA, but he's done a nice job getting good players in the draft.

Because he should never have been projected that high. Weak at the point of attack, short arms, meh mobility.

"In case you can’t tell, JD picks in tiers. He likes to grab the last guy available in the tier before a drop off. He felt Becton was the best guy in his tier for top tackles. He felt Mims was his last top tier guy receiver. He felt Davis was the last top tier safety. He felt Perine was the last running back he felt good about. Morgan was the last quality back up QB available. And Clark was the last mid tier lineman. There’s still some receivers and corners left so he’s waiting out those tiers. This has been pretty much a flawless draft. Don’t be surprised when there’s still a quality receiver picked in the last few rounds."

Could happen.  Joe might want to add some additional picks for next year.  I think 10 is plenty for this year.

KJ Hill anyone? We should also target a TE. Griffin is already 31 years old and separated his ankle. Someone who can produce by 2021 would be welcome.

4 picks until us....still good players on the board.....I think we have to go Punter, CB, or WR

I have a man crush on Manny Patterson from Maine, but he might be more of a 6th round target

There's good value on the interior OL, but I think we may be done there
