Hopefully another Blessuan who can hold up right away. With the lack of depth we have it's likely he'll be on the field quite a bit.

I think they'll sign Logan Ryan. Then the depth chart at CB will look like this:

Ryan

Desir

Poole (slot)

Austin

Hall

Bennett Jackson

That's a pretty good set of starting CB's with 2 young talented backups

I expect we're going to end up signing about 15 UDFA WR's when all is said and done, lol.

I agree.

Saw a stat the first day of draft, that something like 40% of passes were caught by UNDRAFTED WR's last year in the NFL.  Seemed cray to me tbqh.

We're gonna sign a few I think.

I read from multiple sources leading up to the draft the  jets loved Morgan along with a few other teams, might have been earlier than I thought they’d take him. A lot of teams taking QB’s earlier than expected. Daniel Jeremiah compared Morgan to Brisset. I’d love a Brisset like backup.

Heard him interviewed on Sirius.  Seems like a very humble, good guy.  Another character guy.

1 WR in this loaded draft class.

The only possible explanation I can think of is that they are gambling that some vets get cut in training camp.

The Raiders drafted 3 WRs:

Round 1, No. 12 overall: Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama

Round 3, No. 80 overall: Lynn Bowden Jr., WR, Kentucky

Round 3, No. 81 overall: Bryan Edwards, WR, South Carolina

Yes, 1 only drafted 1 WR, but that is a position where there are always competent vets available before the season.  Certainly there are guys as good as almost anyone you can draft in rounds 5-7.  Look at our own history of guys we picked up for nothing or low draft picks.  Braylon, B-Marsh and Santonio come to mind.

I wonder what it would take to get Samuel from the panthers.

Dude stop complaining.  We had a lot of holes that others teams didn’t have .  We still got Mims and added to our oline and backs.  I’m sorry but we were never draft 4-5 WR here lol

We went into this draft with a severe lack of depth at WR. Doubling down was widely expected among analysts and fans.

Not everything is a complaint, but its concerning.

Even WITH Mims, we still have a bottom 5 WR room, so go back to downvoting everyone like you normally do and be quiet.

And I don't think they're going to end up being happy with at least 2 of them a couple years from now.
