GreenFish
Where is Logan Ryan playing where he’s a significant upgrade to what we have? Ryan is a slot corner (Poole) who can make the switch to FS (Maye and Davis). Prior to the Davis pick, it made more sense. We’re pretty set in the areas where he can make an impact.

SOJ
I rather stay put. if they plan to let mays go then Davis steps in and next year they pickup a FA or draft a guy.

Jetster
If Davis turns out to be a baller this could be a really fun trio of safeties to watch with Mosely back in the MLB position. Adams will ball out if he can really, really free lance at will with Maye, Davis & Mosely to cover for him. He's a freaking handful for TEs, RBs, say what you will but Jamal is one strong mofo & has great anticipation because of his knowledge of the game. He's one of the few guys who walked the walk around here since Keyshawn.

Clowney may be a "really good player", but he's not worth $15M+, even on just a 1-year deal. If he's willing to come down significantly on his asking price, sure. He’d be the best pass rusher on our team. Unlike Logan Ryan who had a weirdly good year, Clowney had an outlier year in which his sack totals declined. If he regains form and gives us 9 sacks and 48 pressures (About what his stats were in Houston) then the team will be better and competing. That doesn't say much. Again, I'm cool with Clowney but not for $15M+.

Markus Golden is a nothing player. A fluke performance on an expiring deal. I like Griffen. I wouldn’t mind him at all, but Clowney has more to offer and provides the versatility that the team seems to covet. If we sign Griffen, I’ll be happy, if we sign Clowney, I’ll be ecstatic I’d be willing to go up to $15 million for Clowney. Heck if that could be worked out I’d have picked him up myself. There’s a reason the defenses he plays on end up being good defenses.
