Four day turnaround between an away game against the Colts and hosting the Broncos on Thursday Night Football is a bit rough. Could at least have fixtured a home game on the Sunday prior to hosting Denver. Or at least have made the Colts game a 1pm game if it wasn't possible to have the Jets play at home in week 3.

Denver has to fly across the country on a short week - that game favors the home team in a big way.

No its not anymore. Its obvious hence why the teams that square off in the Super bowl always play each other the next year, or draft picks of QBs square off.

Dude. Yes, it is. I pulled the bullets directly from the NFL website.

SB teams do NOT face off the next year automatically. They just have the SB winning team from the previous year host the opener on Thursday night. Only in years where they happen to face the opposing conference division is it a rematch between the teams that played each other.

You’re 100 % wrong on this and it’s pretty humorous.

Btw the Chiefs host the Texans in the Thursday nfl opener this year, not the 49ers. I wonder why??

I really need to add more British sayings into my vocabulary.

"Piece of piss" isn't uttered here in the States nearly often enough!

You’re missing out. One of the main reason I love visiting the States is saying normal things and getting confused looks.

Schedule has seemed shady for years to me. But I guesd you're right.

I've been waiting for years to get an early season game in Seattle, but it's always relegated to November or December.  ?

Dammit!!!

I guess I could hit up my Issqauah relatives for use of their season tickets this year.  But over the last few years, visiting Portland or Seattle for any length of time... well it depresses the ___ out of me.

Why is the Pats home game always a prime time game???????

Too bad this year Sam will take Stidham to school on prime time. Stidham will get to see ghosts this time.

Unpopular Take...

Tampa Bay is going to go 13-3 and Tom Brady is going to be a top 3 QB.... Book it.

Popular Take:  Aqua Boy's play becomes as toxic as the algae runoff from the drainage of a Florida reservoir and Gronk's run of decent play lasts about 4 games before he hurts something.

Schedule is brutal not sure what u guys are looking at odds are 0-3 right out of the gate

i dont see more then 6 wins

I hope for a ring but hope is a four letter word

The Jets season is all about chunks.  2-2, 2-2, 3-1, 3-1.  That gets us to 10-6.  Look at it like this:

W Week 1 at Bills
L Week 2 San Francisco
L Week 3 at Colts
W Week 4 Broncos (TNF)

W Week 5 Cardinals
L Week 6 at LA Chargers
W Week 7 Bills
L Week 8 at Chiefs

W Week 9 New England (MNF)
L Week 10 at Dolphins
W Week 12 Dolphins
W Week 13 Las Vegas

L Week 14 at Seattle
W Week 15 at Rams
W Week 16 Browns
W Week 17 at New England

4-4 open is not impossible.  6-2 finish like last year.  10-6.  AFC East Champs.

SAR I
