The Jets would have probably just used it on one of the UDFA they got after the draft like Cager or Huff.

Yup - exactly.  I was just going to point out thats where he claims the Jets had an affinity for Hennessy.  He said it during other radio interviews as well.  He’s a tool for misinformation.

So is it not possible that the Jets liked lots of players that they weren't able to choose based on their priorities?  You can love a player who you don't covet as much as other guys on your board when you have a chance to get him.  Several sources said the  Jets liked Hennessy.
