Dick knows what he’s doing, he knows Jets fans soft spot. Although to be fair to Jets Fans, when have any of these big ticket Free Agents panned out?

Notable resent fook up’s below:-

2015

Darrelle Revis five-year, $70 million

2016

Muhammad Wilkerson 5 year 86 million

Matt Forte 3 year 12 million

Ryan Fitzpatrick 1 year 12 million

2018

Josh McCown 1 year $10 million

Isaiah Crowell 3 years, $12 million

Trumaine Johnson 5 years, $72.5 million

Spencer Long 4 years, $27.5 million

Avery Williamson 3 years, $22.5 million

2019

CJ Mosley 5 year $85 million

Ryan Kalil 1 year $8.4 million

Le’Veon Bell 4 year $52.5 mill

I could added more, but it was making me depressed.

Just my opinions...

Really Bad Deals - Either gross overpayment, overpaying for a risky guy (either contractually, health, etc.) or anchoring the team for multiple years with an excessively burdensome contract.

Bad - Overpayment, burdening the cap with an average player or signing a bad player but without longterm consequences

Not bad - Maybe overpayment but position/value and Cap implications make this negligible.

100% right. From beginning to end, fantastic flick.

Marvin was a great character as well

Yeah he had all great lines too...actually whoever wrote the screenplay for that movie was a pure genius..every line great from every actor, body language..just everything.

Marvin (at the airport ticket counter near the end of the movie).

Ticket clerk: (with a lisp) “Smoking or non smoking?”

Marvin: (face busted up, exhausted) “take a wild f**kin guess”

Ticket Clerk: “Smoking” hahaha

another scene...”I amaze myself...I’m Always thinkin” hahaha

Comic gold. I'm not sure who did the screenplay, but I know the guy that directed Beverly Hills Cop directed it

Jack Walsh: I know my rights. You owe me phone calls.
Alonzo Mosely: What should be of paramount importance to you right now is not the phone calls. It's the fact that you're gonna spend ten years for impersonating a federal agent.
Jack Walsh: Ten years for impersonating a fed, huh?
Alonzo Mosely: Ten years.
Jack Walsh: How comes no one's after you?

NEXT LINE: Give this man his phone calls!  I own the movie , have seen it 100 times. LOVE IT!  Marvin! Watchout!

I have a signed "head shot" in my office of Charles Grodin. He wrote  ..."Hey Matt, why aren't you my accountant!

McCown made no sense, both in 2017 AND 2018.  They should have sunk or swum with Hackenberg and Petty in 2017.  And giving McCown $10M to be Darnold's QB coach in 2018 didn't make sense either.
