Oh man.  Really?  Couldn't even have given him a Steely Dan or even a Bread fandom as punishment.  Jeez.  You're cruel.

Not my intention at all. I’ve posted with him since JI, really see him rocking out to Air Supply  in his BMW with his Brooks Brothers  suit and AllBirds. That’s all not meant to be an insult. If I’m wrong then I apologize. My second guess would be Radiohead.

No.  I'm just kiddin'.  I  like some of Air Supply's stuff.  They covered Jim Steinman's songs.  And if he can't write a hit song.  Nobody can.

Yeah, when it’s go time.

Or on casual Friday out on the highway in perfectly wrinkled blue jeans. Pedals, pistons, Rolex precision a sexy and sweaty machine.

OP: Maybe a little step back for everyone

Maybe everyone needs to wake up.

High vibration go on
To the sun
Oh, let my heart dreaming
Past a mortal as me
Where can I be?

Wish the sun to stand still
Reaching out to touch our all being
Past all mortal as we
Here we can be
(He can be here)
(Be here now)
Here we can be

Suns | High | Streams | Through
Awaken gentle mass touch
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touch
(Gentle mass touch)

Strong | Dreams | Reign | Here
Awaken gentle mass touch
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touch
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touch

(Star | Song)

Star | Song | Age | Less
Awaken gentle mass touching
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touching
(Gentle mass touch)
Awaken gentle mass touching
Touching...
Touching...
Touching...

Workings of man
Set to ply out historical life
Reregaining the flower of the fruit of his tree
All awakening
All restoring you

Workings of man
Crying out from the fire set aflame
By his blindness to see
That the warmth of his being
Is promised for his seeing
His reaching so clearly

Workings of man
Driven far from the path
Rereleased in inhibitions
So that all is left for you
All is left for you
All is left for you
All is left for you NOW...

Master of images
Songs cast a light on you
Hark thru dark ties
That tunnel us out of sane existence
In challenge as direct
As eyes see young stars assemble

Master of light
All pure chance
As exists cross divided
In all encircling mode
Oh closely guided plan
Awaken in our heart

Master of soul
Set to touch
All impenetrable youth
Ask away
That thought be contact
With all that's clear
Be honest with yourself
There's no doubt
No doubt

Master of time
Setting sail
Over all our lands
And as we look
Forever closer
Shall we now bid
Farewell farewell...

High vibration go on
To the sun, oh let my heart dreaming
Past a mortal as me
Where can I be

Wish the sun to stand still
Reaching out to touch our own being
Past all mortal as we
Here we can be

Like the time I ran away
Turned around and you were standing close to me
Like the time I ran away
Turned around and you were standing close to me

I thought so too.  This song would've explained his love of Adam Gase.

Denny Dias doesn't get the credit he deserves for being the definitive SD guitar player.  And you know... co-founding the band.

My favorite band of all time YES, and Jon Anderson as the front man. Saw them 11 times all over the US. Nice that he sang that with musician's other then YES, but I saw the original Going for the One tour in CA with Rick Wakeman. I was awakened in the 70's, and not meaning WOKE. Not sure where you're coming from, and I'll leave it there as I did not want to reply to this post other then to post a song about PEACE.

Mine as well. Seen them over 20 times. Awaken. As meant for people to be aware of what’s happening right under their collective noses. To take action not step back. Time to move forward. Peace not violence.

Lots of locked posts with some heated discussions, and sometimes a little step back before moving forward was why I selected that thread title.

One of the practical jokes my best friend and I have is to call each other up at opportune moments as Jon Anderson and yell, "TEACHING US TO LOVE FOR GOODNESS SAKE!"  I used to call him up as C.W. McCall and start reciting the lyrics to "Convoy."  But he says if I ever do that again we won't be friends any more.  So I have since switched over to a drunk Gary Busey.

When they churned through so many amazing guitarists, it's not hard to figure how he didn't get the props.

Larry Carlton (Kid Charlemagne)

Skunk Baxter (Bodhisattva)

Elliot Randall (Reelin' in the Years)

And that's not even counting Walter.  It was a veritable factory of amazing musicians.
