There are ways to tank with self respect vs. it being obvious.  Colts did it to get Luck.

So you think players are stupid, don't know the team is tanking and when the HC tells the team their usual rah, rah stuff the team won't quit.

Colts didn't tank, they lost their HOF QB and sucked.  

Remember when the fins were tanking for Tua?  How'd that work out?  Like I said, the tank never happened, they tried to win and the supposed 1st QB to go in the draft fell and they wound up with Tua anyway.  The perfect example of why teams don't tank.

Ugh, no they didn't.  

I get that there are those who believe it.  There are also people who swear the moon landing were faked.  

Those who believe they tanked never have anything but they didn't replace Manning or just "yes, they tanked, you're the only one who doesn't know it"

Teams openly tank in the NBA for their own long-term gain.  Why is it so hard to accept that it happens in the NFL too, where you either have a QB or you suck?
