77 and 11 fit Becton and Mims perfectly in my opinion.

Not that Becton could have had 73 here, but that just didn't fit a giant LT in my head.

Mims with 11 also just is about perfect. I don't know why,it just does.

It's going to be a mad scramble to order NY Jets jerseys with #7.  Get them while you still can!

We have a lot of OL now with numbers in the 70's.  I generally prefer OL to have numbers in the 60's

The pic you used came from "Getty images"?!  "Hess images" would be a lot more apropos.

Can’t believe they didn’t retire #11.

No respect for my guy.

I’m still trying to come around on the Morgan and Mann picks. I’d have loved to have gotten another WR and CB, but whatever.

Most of you are fine with it though, “In JD we trust” and all that. So it is what it is.

I have to admit, I'm a bit surprised that they continue to give out Brick's number.  While I can get not moving forward with a formal retirement, there's plenty of instances of teams doing "unofficial" retirements of jersey numbers.  While Brick obviously isn't as likely for the hall as Mangold (whose number they haven't given back out), on the other hand honestly his odds are far better than Chrebet's ever were.  Ultimately, a career Jet among the very best this team had his entire run here.  Of course, for all I know Brick couldn't care less, so not worth getting worked up over, but just catches my eye whenever I see it.

I like #77 for Becton because back in the day Carl Barzilauskas wore #77 as maybe the biggest man in the league. So yeah, definitely a fit.

Mims wearing #11 is a little curious. I guess they're hoping fans forget Anderson.

They ran out of numbers for Cager and Campbell, which isn't the best sign for them.

I would never ever cut a NY Jets jersey to bare my midriff. C'Mon Man.

Brick?  What about Mawae?  Hell, Grantham was #60.

Two level of honor; those who have their names enshrined in the Ring of Honor, and those immortals who get their numbers retired.  D'Bust isn't having his number retired.

This has an Old Timers Day at Yankee Stadium vibe to it.

The boys are back.... 👍

Just need @BROOKLYN JET to pop out of the dugout now....

Lol. Cager and Campbell to just rock an orange pinnie during camp. Not a good sign.

60 was Larry Grantham's first

the worst is when someone wears 88 and 80. I don't know why those irk me so much but it's never good

Turn that frown upside down.  We're going to have the most electrifying punting unit in the league this year!

If Mims makes us forget about Robby we will have a good offense. 77 always reminds me of Kris Jenkins.

With 12 & 13 retired and 80 not given out since Chrebet, no numbers left for WRs.  Only 86. whcih we have used for TE last several years (Cumberland, Leggett).

Makes sense to give the 2 UDFAs that bad numbers.

Hey, let's hope Becton is as disruptive on offense as Kris Jenkins was on defense, for a much longer, healthier career!

Was wondering why Hall didn't get a # yet

Yes!

Emmitt Smith,  also from UF wore 22 as well.

And btw, my favorite #, was my (and son's), baseball number.
