Perfectly stated!  This guy was a phony from day 1. He wants to go to a winner for only one reason, publicity. So how does he do that, by trashing the team who drafted him and acting like a spoiled brat and destroying his own brand. If I am the Jets all the cray cray takes extension off the table. If I am blown away by a trade I will do it, if not I will play him at his current 4th and 5th money, tag him and trade him for a 2nd or 3rd in 3 years or just play him under the tag.

IMO, the trade value was always going to be trash. No one wants to pay a premium for what Jamal does. Jones was throwing the Jets a bone with the offer of a one and a backup CB, and Douglas, in retrospect, should have taken it because he’s never seeing a deal like that again.
