As bad as the owners may be, should the season be cancelled they will never agree to full salaries. And even as dumb as the NFLPA is, they should never agree to an escrow system. Looks like they're not in the same conversation. NFLPA if they had some leadership would readily agree to a hard cap with a few simple sensible conditions; PC counting toward pensions and LTC vesting, shorter vesting times and guaranteed salaries. It's a collision sport; these guys have short careers and get beat to hell. Instead the NFLPA has held onto the shiny trinkets of free agency that benefits very few players and lets agents like Drew Rosenhaus announce nonsense 1 year deals as if they re in fact long term lottery winnings. It could be the worst union in the US. 1
Rangers9
If I went to a game and got Covid I wouldn’t sue but then again I would never sign a waiver so I wouldn’t have gotten in in the first place.

Revisions for reopening plans are expected to follow. It is hard to fathom that sports crowds won't explicitly or implicitly be mentioned in some sort of way and even harder to fathom with LA spiking so hard right now that the city is going to allow fans at games if sports even happen at all. And LA Unified just announced they are staying online for the fall.
T0mShane
I find it so fascinating how the NFL is trying to thread this needle right now. It’s gross, but you have to admire the sheer delusion:

It actually would have been great news had they announced it in May like the CU's and CSU's did, when the writing was clearly on the wall and the data projected all of this happening almost down to the ******* decimal.
