#27TheDominator
4 hours ago, DLJ said: Last season, the Jets signed Anderson to a one-year, $3.095 million deal after he hit free agency. The Jets had interest in retaining Anderson and bringing him back but Carolina offered the former Temple star a chance to reunite with his old college coach, Matt Rhule. Who wrote this? It is misleading. He didn't sign that cheap ass deal after he hit free agency. That was the tender. Any team that wanted him had to sign him and give the Jets a 2nd. 4 hours ago, Bowles Movement said: Its funny They took a chance when no one else wanted him and helped develop him. Now hes getting 20 million over two yrs Who won that situation? Who says nobody else wanted him? He wasn't drafted, but the Jets weren't the only team that wanted him. I think he was a fairly high priority free agent. The Jets didn't develop sh*t. He was good out of the gate and, unfortunately, he hasn't improved much over the years.

Decker got hurt and Anderson bailed the Jets out and became the starter. He was successful with Fitzpatrick, McCown and Darnold and despite spending two years with Darnold, his best year was with McCown. 1

Except for the last one, all of these plays were great recoveries by the defense. Some of these wouldn't have had the chance to be contested if Darnold placed the ball better. And the last play was a hospital ball if Robbie doesn't stop his momentum. It's a tough catch he should have made but it was still bad placement by Darnold.

If he's getting paid 12 million dollars or more, a WR doesn't need perfect ball placement and can out muscle his man on contested catches. He also should have a higher catch rate than 54%. That's my point. The passes against your Bills week 1, the Giants, and the Ravens, are particularly pathetic, as they were pin point passes, especially given the pressure square in Darnold's face before his dropback is complete. 2 of the 3 were TD throws. Not included in this video are the numerous clips of him dogging routes, ultimately leading to INTs, and slowing up because he didn't know the ball was coming his way, only for it to sail over his head. The only one I give Robby a pass on is the deep ball against the Bengals. That was a sh*tty underthrow that Darnold gets the blame for. 4
Popular Post Paradis
What Jet Fans saw in R.A.. I can't fathom... he was a decent deep threat, and marginal at best in other areas. His contested ball game was as slight as his frame... Most of the time he was a bone head whose ego wrote checks his performance couldn't cash. I get it though, it's been since Santana Moss that a home grown WR has emerged. Its easy to fall in love with the guy in bunk above you.
hokiejetfan92
Yeah I mean he should learn how the nfl and the cba works. Just with Leveon bell, Steelers “won that situation” for 4 years, then now he’s on the jets with him clearly winning the situation. Is the above worth that? Nope.. Particularly considering if he didn't progress the Jets would've cut his ass The jets made out very well on their deal with Robbie. They decided against paying him market forcing him to uproot himself. That is their right, as is it's his right to feel bitter about that. i don't understand what the issue is here?
