FedEx threatened to pull stadium sponsorship, city said they won't build a new stadium if the name stays the same, and Nike pulled all Redskin related merch off their website.

Now that's how you get something done.

I've always like the idea of the Washington Filibusters.

Patriots:  Colonial slave owners and terrorists.

Buffalo Bill:  Indian bounty hunter.

Raiders:  Raped and plundered innocents on the high seas.

Buccaneers:  See Raiders.

Chiefs:  See Redskins.

Cowboys:  Murderous enemy of indigenous people.

Vikings:  Raped and slaughtered innocents whose land they conquered.

Chargers:  Credit card debt afflicts billions of people.

Jets: Dropped bombs on civilians since WWI.

As we've learned so distinctly this year, the right framing can demonize anything.

Im thinking they simply go back to their 70's on logo.  Back then they changed from the Indian head to the simple R.  Works with any of the names proposed

1) Keep Logo, call team Washington Warriors

2) Keep name, change logo to a peanut.

Solving PC problems one solution at a time....

I thought it would be Warriors (or Braves) all along. More PC and wouldn't require a major change to existing logo.
