Mehta Exclusive with Jamal

Looking on the bright side we now get to watch Jamal Adams demise LOL! He should have left it as he's demanding a trade.

Now he has proven himself to be toxic and I don't think anybody is going to offer anything for him much less meet his contract demands.

Welcome to the Real World Jamal! You can't go to a job interview and say your last boss was an a$$hole, that the owner doesn't know what he's doing, that the manager is in over his head and you're the best and want a 100% raise!

Lmfao what a TOOL!! This ass clown couldn't get a job making french fries at McDonald's-  entitled Punk

Jamal himself isn't liked in the locker room so I guess it's just a matter of him deciding to really go scorched Earth.

Said this many times.  Wait till he's gone.  The papers will run out of ink with quotes on this guy.

That's a huge Mets failure.

Again, I stopped when your were blatantly wrong.

Once you make a mistake that large, then I just stop.

And then the fact that you try and back up and cover your tracks is par for the course for you. Wash, F-up, repeat.

he's garbage

I said it - he's gonna follow the Jalen Ramsey playbook to get himself out of town: badmouth the coach and FO

It was clear as day to anyone who was paying attention.

Should've traded him at the trade deadline to Dallas, should've traded him before the draft, DEFINITELY should've traded him when he took his trade request public, now they're gonna be forced to trade him for 50c on the dollar. You can't have an active cancer like this on your team. End of ******* story.

Thats an easy answer. If i dont like working somewhere, id get over it slightly for millions and millions of dollars.

Not defending Adams here but with salary its all relative. If you felt you were in the top 10% of the position at your job and that job paid 100K and guys above you were making 200k you'd want 200k  . Take the millions out of the equation and just compare relative to other top players.

I wouldn't be surprised if some guys thought they could use the current social/political climate to their advantage.

I think it's the other way around, the second we signed Davis it triggered Adams into this explosion. No one is as insecure as Adams.

My bad I forgot the , after No wonder lol... but that's what I meant.

Did Adams say Gase is disconnected from the team?  Almost as if to suggest he doesn't care? Wow.  Totally didn't see that coming.

Adams didn't have a negative thing to say about Gase or the rest of the coaching staff all year.  Only now, when he's trying to shoot his way out of town, does he vomit this out in an "exclusive" with the only bigger snake than he is, Mehta.

Seems legit.

JD did Jamal dirty.  Jamal acted like a little bitch.  Gase doesnt care about anything and now this is a total sh*t show.  At this point, you almost just take whatever you can get and move on.

Go Jets!

Still with this lie?  The only one who is saying JD did Jamal dirty is Jamal himself, the biggest narcissist in the league.  JD did absolutely nothing wrong.  He owed Jamal Adams nothing, and still doesn't.  Jamal is just a b*tch, plain and simple.

This is football, and its a business.  The only ones who did Jamal "dirty" are the NFLPA who agreed to these terms on rookie deals in the CBA.  B*tch to them or go cry in a closet, Jamal.

It's amazing how a take on Adams v. Gase can be so illustrative of all of the problems of the world.

Manish, you're such an idiot.

You're a sorry excuse for a reporter:

I know why you didn't dare ask any "tough" questions like;

Are you gonna show up and play this year?

So, as a "Man" will you honor your the rest of your contract?

Do you think that by going public this way will give other teams a negative impression of yourself?

Oh, that's because Jamal wouldn't dare say ok to doing this if you would have.

idiot.

Adams has taken a shot at the owner, GM and HC in less than a week.  Will
he complete the circuit and take a shot at Darnold???  I wouldn't put
anything past him at this point

Jamal doesnt strike me as a liar.   A diva biotch, sure, but liar?  Nah.  And I dont see any reason for him to lie about this, I feel like that would come out in the wash.

He is a bald face liar.  Changes his comments at the drop a dime.

Jamal is following the “force your way out of town” playbook to perfection.

Hopefully JD doesn't take the bait.  Force him to play or get a very solid trade package (no less than 80 cents on the dollar).  The only 2 options here.

You're the only one deflecting here.  Ignoring any positive statements made about Gase and instead trusting the words of Manish Mehta and Jamal Adams.

Great hill to die on, buddy!

Absolutely.  Amazing how people ignore the obvious when they just want things to fall a different way.

Shoulda been Matt Rhule, but either way we got the runt of the litter and he's shi**ing all over the new carpet.

Gase rid us of Macc (the worst GM in NFL history) and brought us Joe Douglas, who will be the best GM the Jets have had in decades.  For that I will be eternally grateful.

All this other BS is just window dressing.  One day Gase will be gone.  But today is not that day.  Deal with it.

Like the coward he is, Jamal had his buddy Ryan Clark go after Darnold a few weeks back.

How did JD do Jamal dirty?

If a team calls, and says, "We are interested in trading for Jamal", should JD have simply refused the call?   Or should he listen?   What if he was given some insane offer for Jamal?  If you are the GM, you always pick up the phone.

He thinks he "did Jamal dirty" because he said he wanted Jamal to be a Jet for life but didn't offer him an extension that we know of.

That's not doing someone dirty.  That's football, which is a business.  Jamal is just a whiny b*tch and no one should listen to anything he says.  Narcissists don't live in a world that actually reflects reality; they create their own.  So no matter what anyone says or does, Jamal will always play the victim card.

Remember when folks were like...give Mac a chance to rebuild the roster?

Then those same folk were all, "There's no problems between Gase and Mac. It's all lies! Mac is doing a good job!"

Then those folks torched mac and hailed Gase as a mastermind genius...

Shockingly, the same folks who have said Jamal is superstar cornerstone of the franchise...no problems between him, Gase and JD

..and now we're seeing them start to turn on Adams..

Some of  ya'll should stop defending every single thing Jets and face reality. Jamal is a bum, has been a bum and needs to go.

So strange how a guy who is an absolute wrecking ball on the football field at the pro level on Sunday's can be such an overemotional baby when the pads come off.

WTF does this even mean?  What does it have to do with a contract negotiation for a person to play football?

“It’s definitely mixed feelings,” Adams told the News in his first comments amid the contract stalemate. “But at the end of the day, my happiness is more important. I know my worth. I’m going to stand on my beliefs. I’m going to stand on who I am as a person. And I’m not ever going to change who I am for somebody who’s judging me. Either you accept me for who I am and you work with me and support me or you don’t. It’s okay if you don’t.”

His feelings about people judging him and asking him to change?  Were the Jets trying to put language in his contract that told him how to dress and what to tweet about, telling him to turn his back on his lifestyle?  Jesus Christ.

So on one hand you say this but on another you praise Mehta for having a "credible source"?

Are you going to finally see the light, ever?

I get that. Jamal Adams is also becoming borderline cancerous at this point. But I really do hope Gase addresses the whole team at halftime and during other important times. That would be ridiculous.

Nothing "borderline" about it.  He is cancerous.  But there's 2 things he can do about his grievances:  1) Nothing, and 2) Like it.

For the record, I believe two things are true here.

Jamal is telling the truth about Gase.

Jamal is a crybaby.

Doesn't have to be one or the other.

And 3) Manish Mehta sucks and is a snake with few (if any) redeemable qualities.

All 3 of those can be true.
