Frelund: Ranking all 32 teams by their QB rooms heading into training camp

Recommended Posts

Pretty fair to the Jets, I'd say.  @Trolly McTrollface the Giants got ranked 5 spots behind the Jets on this one.  The analytics don't like your boy.

Please, many of these guys rated above us are no longer themselves.  Downhill slide vs uphill.  I'd rate us at least 3 spots better.  After all, how old is too old?  When does adequate become not quite adequate enough?  At least a few of those guys ahead of us fall into those categories.

Exactly my reaction.  Also a little surprised to see Baker & Co. ranked 9 spots higher.

Good point - that one slipped by me, but I agree.  It can well be argued that Sam had a better year than BM last year.

Mahomes  could have had Larry, Curly and Moe behind him and still be #1.

I could roll with this... until I saw that the Chargers and Bills were ranked higher.

Yeah the Chargers one is stupid but I’d take Josh Allen over Darnold any day of the week.

I think Josh Allen is underrated because homers don’t want to admit a rival team has a stud.

You think Josh Allen is underrated because you’re a Bills fan.  Reminds me so much of my perception of Sanchez during his first couple years.  Take the blinders off and just accept  that you have the most inaccurate QB in the league.  He’s a good football player, just not a good QB.

Huh?

Where did that come from?

This is not a “fan” thing, it’s just football.

There is a reason why Allen made the Top-100 list and Darnold did not.

In fact, Darnold didn’t even make the “honorable mention” of the top-100.

And the Top-100 is a league wide vote. They’re not just taking votes from Bills fans.

It's a league wide vote from the players.  You know, the same players that once had Blake Bortles as # 56 on the list.  And Josh Norman # 11.

No one cares.

Right.

The actual players, and defensive players, that face these QB’s on a weekly basis.

Allen made the top 100 as voted by the peers who face him.

Darnold not only didn’t make the top 100, he also didn’t make the honorable mention.

In other words, other NFL players think he is pretty bad.

This is a fact. If Allen was in green, you would be gushing over him.
