To me, its a virtual lock that we carry 6 WRs.  Berrios, Vyncint Smith, Cager make the squad.  Campbell and Jeff Smith to the PS.

Everyone else is gone.

Boring picks, I know.  A potential future signing of Demaryius Thomas would complicate things.

This

Right now I’d say:

Mims

Perriman

Crowder

Smith

Cager

Berrios

But with their being so little time in camp and literally no pre-season, I could easily see Douglas bringing back Thomas on a 1 year deal and Cager goes to the PS.

I think right now, it has to be:

Mims (obvious)
Perriman (obvious)
Crowder (obvious)

Berrios: His contribution in special teams helps, and directly a back up to Crowder in the slot.

Smith: He made improvements as the year went on, has size speed potential. Ever since Douglas was here, I see a concerted effort to add speed.

Cager: The WR coach loves him and I think his potential is too good to risk on the PS.

Wallace:. PS, potential but he really needed to show out in a preseason game or two to have a chance.

With Josh Doctson out on a Corona Opt-Out, who are the  WRs?

We have to figure Perriman, Crowder, and Mims are locks to make the roster.  Who will the other 2 WRs be if we keep 5?  What if we keep 6?

The "With Doctson out" part was funny. He had no chance to make the team anyway

V. Smith, Berrios and Cager.  I like Jeff Smiths potential but he has to stay healthy, 6'4 Campbell with his sub 4.4 speed could surprise.  If his last 3 or 4 games are indication, he could force the Jets to keep 7 receivers.  He appears to be a clone of Robby Anderson  in some respects.
