As much as I like JD Fant was a head scratchier for me..
vtbx
Connor Hughes has some interesting reporting on the Becton vs. Jordan TC battles. He says Becton will always ask Jordan for feedback when he gets beat. It's show the rookie is open to criticism and wants to be great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgeWq1gvTI8

You shouldn't be so dismissive.

It is not an insult to put him at RT where not only will he be more effective but also allow for a dominant right side for the run. Where's the proof Fant would be more dominant at LT than Becton? I'm pretty sure he didn't start much at Seattle, and is a converted TE.

Tough to get in close..... Ali also had 20 lbs. on him.

Yeah, I'm not saying he would have beaten him at all, but there's a certain amount of respect to be paid to a fighter like Rocky.

Cooper was less than 190ibs in that fight. Ali did get up and Win but an iffy result.

I had an old codgy Korean war vet as my Creative Writing teacher. This Mr. Chips-style character I practically worshiped was also my career counselor and we talked a lot. And I just loved old time boxing stories. Anyway. The old guy told me that he had seen some great fights when he was younger. And one of Rocky Marciano's early bouts before he turned pro he had seen in Portland. He was in an amateur boxing competition at Jatzen Beach, a large amusement park/dance hall area near the Columbia River. Mr Chips said that during one of the bouts, Marciano punched a guy so hard he knocked him out of the ring completely. Where he landed totally out like a light bulb.
