"I'm going to be unstoppable," says New York Jet...

Recommended Posts

I think he'll have a big season. He showed glimpses last year and he's in much better shape this year. His size and athleticism is off the charts if he can put it all together he's going to be a monster.

Unstoppable. At the lunch line? He needs to improve a lot to justify where he was picked vs where his peers were and their production. Not saying I’ve deemed him a bust after one year...... He has a long way to go I think.

Hope so!

Well just a couple bags of Arbys slowed him down last season, so we shall see.

I'll be the first to say I hated the Jets drafting Q.Williams @ 3 overall, but if he can be an impact player and is putting in the work i'll shut up and gladly eat crow.

Good.

Looking forward to seeing it, as opposed to hearing it.

This.

I would expect every player on the team to preach the same lines. Especially this off season when everyone was practically locked down. From other reports and photos from camp (Braxton's hammy in particular) it seems everyone is in their best shape and chomping at the bit.

And side note: I would hope nfl caliber trainers are better than the ones he was using on youtube.

"I feel like I'm tapped into that zone, tapped into that level that I'm going to be unstoppable," he said Wednesday in a Zoom call.

Either his training has brought about in him an air of supreme confidence or he plans to play on PCP.

I want to see pressures, hurries, and knockdowns that alter the trajectory of the play. It's reasonable to expect 10-12 sacks from the "consensus best player in the draft." I'm not getting caught up with stats, but I want to see Q disrupt the passing game and stuff the run.

Somerville is the boxing guy that Bell has been training with.   Bell supposedly is down 12 lbs.  A bunch of the other guys are working out there.  QWilliams does look a bit better, but I'm a bit concerned that his weight was still up around 325 in May.

So we’re not going to address that he’s down 6 lbs from last year, but that he gained 30 lbs before losing it?

With this remarkable statement he will have all the OL men in the league gunning for him. Great bulletin board material.

He showed no explosiveness at all his rookie year.  That just doesn't come all of a sudden.

He'll be a solid run stopper, big body up the middle and get his occasional pressure and even a sack once in a while - but no more than that.  Let's just say, he won't be keeping OC's up at night.

Hope I'm wrong.
