Of course there is.  He jettisoned his way out of Seattle, too.  A pretty good place to be a Safety, I hear.

Fair point, but Thomas is 7 years older than Adams, and obviously was never going to go back to Seattle after literally giving the franchise the finger.

This certainly shows how little Earl Thomas meant to Baltimore that they were willing to cut him without much of a problem.  Baltimore cuts their diva Safety.  Seattle trades a huge package of picks for one.  Awesome.

Baltimore can now go pick up Eric Reid or Logan Ryan if they'd like to fill that veteran Safety role.

right.  once it became evident that adams wasn't half the leader he thought he was, he became expendable.  there's no denying the guy had football talent but he needed more than that if he wanted to be paid the big bucks.  it's going to be interesting to see if he becomes earl thomas part two in seattle.

S Grant Delpit just went down with an apparent Achilles injury for Cleveland.  Might be a landing spot for Thomas if his preferred destinations (like Dallas) don't come calling.  He'd also get to face the Ravens 2x if that happened.

With Delpit down, the starting Safety tandem for Cleveland at the moment is Andrew Sendejo (FS) and Karl Joseph (SS).

Most NFL players will generally stay silent in a situation like Jamal’s: the code of don’t talk about a player fighting a team over his contract. Even if they think he’s behaving foolish.
