I'm starting to get frustrated by JD's lack of action.

He literally replaced the entire offensive line and rebuilt the secondary in one offseason while creating massive cap flexibility.... Were we expecting a SB roster  in one offseason?

I feel like he’s waiting on camp casualties to add the final pieces for this season at wr/rb/edge

Amazing how simple it is to say things like this when you havent coached a single game in your career as a HC

And how is this a culture?

Mangini was as detailed as they came. Lot of failed coaches seem to be when they talk

I'm not down on him overall. I'm also on board with not signing Clowney or trading for Ngakoue. But if Logan Ryan could have been had for that price, the Jets should have signed him. Also, I endorse the build through the draft logic, but after the Jamal trade, the Jets have enough draft capital that they should have tried to add another good WR.

Yes but think about it this way. We can now take that money we didn't spend on him, roll it over into next year, and not spend it again so we can roll it into 2022.

Uhh, you do realize that next year's cap is dropping about $25 million, don't you? We aren't going to win the super bowl this year, and we will be one of the few teams with cap space next year when tons of players will have to be cut by other teams to make the cap. So we will have 2 first round picks and money to spend in a wide open free agency next year.

We aren't going to win the Super Bowl this year so we should never do anything has been the offseason motto of this franchise for 10 years.
