GreekJet
Cut by Washington Imagine having Bell, Peterson, and Gore in the backfield five years ago? I remember being at Adrian Peterson’s first game (preseason). His first carry he tricked somebody.
Popular Post joewilly12
Wish him the best and congratulate him on a great career. I just don't want to see him at this stage of his game on the NY Jets.

CrazyCarl40
He’s better, more versatile, and younger than Frank Gore. But Gore is a Gase guy so it won’t happen.

Popular Post jetophile
I had a really hard time getting past that child abuse thing of his. Yeah, I get it, his relatives used to take a switch to him when he misbehaved blah blah it's a capital punishment thing that he knew blah blah; but he switched his child on the genitals (he could have caused some truly serious irreparable damage) and broke skin all over his thighs and buttocks with multiple contusions. Did anyone happen to see those awful pictures? Anyway, that's why he was reported to the authorities. I hope counseling did him some real good and that he truly realized how wrong it was to do that, but I definitely have my doubts. I did not see that incident as everybody makes a "mistake" kind of thing. That wasn't a mistake. That was a beating, not some pat on the ass that got blown way out of proportion. He also left me cold long before that when he found out that his two-year-old child was murdered by his ex's bf (the child was severely beaten and later removed from life support). Everyone felt sorry for AP, great outpouring of sympathy for him; but he never paid that child any mind, never saw him, didn't know him, and rarely paid child support if at all. The sympathy for the dead baby was practically absent. Anyway, I'm not really very high on Adrian Peterson even though it's off the field situations. Jetsfan80
AP has been in the league since 2007 and racked up over 14,000 career rushing yards. Yet even if he rushed for 1,000+ yards each of his final seasons in the league, he'd need to play 4+ more seasons in the league to pass Emmitt Smith in yardage. Incredible.

Biggs
He would be the best pure running back on the team. He doesn't catch the ball as an outlet and doesn't block at all. He would likely get Sam killed on play action.

Smashmouth
When you see all these RB's that are aging it makes you respect what John Riggins did even more. What was he like 34 years old in the SB when he ran all over Miami you know the year we got ****ed in the mud bowl by that filthy "original cheater" Don Shula

nycdan
Apparently Antonio Gibson, who I was very high on before the draft, is coming on strong there and made AP expendable. They drafted him higher than I expected, top of the 3rd, but if he can give them 500 yards on the ground and in the air, he'll have been well worth it. Should be fun to watch.

The real competition is who can you understand better with marbles in their mouth, Emmitt Smith or Shannon Sharpe? But see, there's no marbles . . . so, forfeit?
